I've been wanting to draw fanart for the movie Cloverfield ever since I saw it, but I really can't draw much, I mean, there technically are no main characters since the people featured are everyday people, and I'm no good at drawing monsters or whatever.
However, I was reminiscing over the funny moments in that movie when the idea of using ~sarahn's characters from her story Vampire Phantasm to play the parts of the characters in Cloverfield popped into my head, and it would fit to make the people in the film seem more important, or matter to me more perhaps.
Therefore, the roles are now: Hud - Topaz (with the camera) Rob - Jack Marlena - Jill Lily - Maila
I drew all the chibis normally then scanned them up and went back over them using the pen tool in Illustrator. Took me a good while but I think it was worth it.
All in all, this is a crossover remake of the funny scene in the subway, the lines modified slightly to fit the comic better...and because I don't remember the lines exactly.
Aw man!! Am I the <n>ONLY person who hasn't seen that movie?! DX It sounds sooooo good, 'specially after seeing all the fan arts about it. Also, this is the second flaming-hobo related one I've seen. Are they seriously attacked by a random flaming hobo?

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
