FINALLY! A piece that I'm going to use for my Diomedes project. I've been meaning to get a picture done like this one for a while.

So basically, it's Diomedes, upset over the death of his grandmother, Orenda.

Even without seeing the expression on Diomedes' face, this piece is incredibly emotional. In fact, the fact that his face is covered makes it more expressive I find. There's great expression in his hands and posture.

I also love the serene expression on his grandmother's face. More beautiful than bloody, which makes it much more painful. Wonderful work as always. :heart:

It's the dagger.
I'm sorry if this is the effect that you were going for and I just don't like it but it looks too isolated.
If you were to make it look like you'de drawn it as well (and if you have then :wow:) then I think it would be better.

BTW, I didn't se anything wrong with the legs :D

Oooh, ok.
Yeah I admit the dagger is a rather bit 'thrown in' there, and I would do it myself but objects are a thorn in my side (pun intended XD; ).
