Due to the 12/21 countdown clock that was inspired by Majora's Mask, I got the urge to draw something based on the game. For some reason I got this dark idea in my head and wanted to bring it forth in this monochrome, sketchy style.

So creepy! I wonder what it would mean, since I always interpreted the children as sort of the same entity. How do you see them?

Honestly, I've not settled on a headcanon for the Moon Children. Each explanation I've heard for them is quite plausible.

the moon has to be one of my favorite scenes in video game history!! I've wanted to draw it for a long time... but more in the paradise, elysian sort of way... not quite like this, hahaha

But this is very poignant. Really dark, kind of sad, but mostly disturbing. I like the sense of distance between Majora and the tree. The style really goes well with the feel too.

Like it a lot. Ahh Majora's Mask, truly the darkest game in the Legend of Zelda series.

Definitely brings a new feeling to that one scene in the game's final act.
